Independence Day
Our youngest pupils marked Ghana's Independence Day with flags on the astroturf and in the forecourt.
On 6 March 2025 our early years pupils marked Ghana's Independence Day. They gathered on the astroturf and in the forecourt, carrying the national flag.
Independence Day is taught before it is understood, which is rather the point of handing a flag to a four-year-old. The understanding arrives later; the belonging starts here.
