The national curriculum, taught to our standard

Junior High School on the Ghanaian pathway: GES curriculum, WAEC's BECE at the end, Crystal Heights discipline throughout.

JHS at Crystal Heights

JHS is the Ghanaian pathway's junior stage: the GES curriculum, taught with the same small classes, facilities, and expectations as everything else at Crystal Heights, and examined through WAEC's BECE.

For families who want the national route with an international-standard school around it, this is that.

Why families choose JHS.

The national curriculum, our standard

GES content taught with the same small sections and facilities as everything else here.

Built for the BECE

Focused preparation for WAEC's Basic Education Certificate Examination.

The full campus

Labs, sport, houses, and the arts. The whole school belongs to both pathways.

The rhythm is the same across the school.

The school day

8:00am to 2:45pm, the internal timetable varies by division.

Three terms

The academic year runs September to July, in three terms.

Small, named classes

Classes split into sections: Mercury, Diamond, Gold, Platinum. When a section fills, we open a new one rather than crowd it.

Four houses

Entsie, Dadzie, Mensah and Margaret. Every student joins one and competes on academic and conduct points, and merit is tracked as seriously as anything else.

Where it leads

JHS leads to the BECE, and from there into SHS: General Arts, Science, or Business.

Boarding, on campus

Boarders live on campus with full pastoral care, at every level of the school. Boarding includes feeding, so families make one decision and everything is covered.
